Editorial Policy

Peer Review Process

Articles submitted to the 8th USU ICoNaP will be processed through format review by editors and substantial review by independent reviewers. The review process is conducted by double-blind review. The editor selects the reviewers. Decisions regarding the publication of articles are based on the results of the review.

The editor applies a plagiarism scan with Turnitin and Google Scholar before the article undergoes a substantial review.

 

Code of Conduct

 

Author

  • Authors should ensure that they have written original work.

  • Authors should ensure that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

  • Authors are responsible for language editing before submitting the article.

  • Authors submitting their work to the journal for publication as an original article confirm that the work submitted is the author's contribution and has not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from another work without clearly citing it. 

  • Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.

  • Authors must report any errors they find in their manuscripts. 

  • Any work or words from other authors, contributors, or sources must be credited and referenced accordingly.

  • Authors agree to a license agreement before submitting articles.

  • All articles must be submitted using the online submission procedure.

Editorial Board

  • The Editorial Board must ensure fair peer review of articles submitted for publication.

  • The Editorial Board must disclose any conflicts of interest.

  • The Editorial Board must ensure all information about the submitted manuscript is kept confidential before publication.

  • The Editorial Board must evaluate the manuscript based solely on its intellectual content.

  • The Editor-in-Chief will coordinate the work of the editors. 

Reviewers

  • Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on content without regard to the author's ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious beliefs, or political philosophy. 

  • Reviewers should ensure that all information related to the submitted manuscript is kept confidential and should report to the Editor-in-Chief if they become aware of any copyright infringement and plagiarism on the author's part. 

  • Reviewers should evaluate the submitted work objectively and express their opinions clearly in the review form.

  • Reviewers should keep information relating to the manuscript confidential.

  • Reviewers who feel unqualified to review the research reported in the manuscript or know that a prompt review is impossible should inform the Editor-in-Chief and withdraw from the review process.
