USU SPIRIT Summer Course 2026 Climate-Smart Action for Building Resilient Youth Communities through Sustainable Nutrition and Health Strategies Be part of an international collaboration to help build resilient youth communities in the face of climate change! The Clinical Nutrition Specialist Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), proudly presents the USU SPIRIT Summer Course 2026, an international program themed "Climate-Smart Action for Building Resilient Youth Communities through Sustainable Nutrition and Health Strategies."

The USU SPIRIT Summer Course 2026 is designed to bring together students, academicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, and practitioners from around the world in an interdisciplinary learning experience. The program features international lectures, workshops, community engagement activities, and field visits, providing participants with valuable insights into sustainable nutrition strategies, public health, and practical approaches to addressing the challenges of climate change.

  • 2–4 September 2026 – Online International Lectures
  • 5–6 September 2026 – Arrival of International Participants in Medan
  • 7–8 September 2026 – Academic Lectures & Workshops at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara
  • 9–10 September 2026 – Community Engagement & Workshops at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh
  • 11–12 September 2026 – Field Trip to Sabang, Aceh
  • 13 September 2026 – Program Evaluation
  • 14 September 2026 – Closing Ceremony
  • 15 September 2026 – Departure of International Participants
