Description

Regarding the publication of articles in the Community Practitioner journal by several doctoral program students as part of the requirements for the Open Examination (Promotion), the following points are conveyed:

  1. There are two websites for the Community Practitioner* journal that appear in search engine results:
    a.https://www.communitypractitioner.co.uk
    b.https://commprac.com
  2. After further investigation, it was found that the website accessible via https://commprac.com is a cloned version of the original Community Practitioner journal, which can be accessed through https://www.communitypractitioner.co.uk.
  3. Therefore, all members of the USU academic community, especially doctoral program students, are urged to be vigilant when publishing scientific articles to avoid falling into predatory, cloned, fake, or hijacked journals
