VDMI Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate (S1) and Applied Bachelor (D4) students in semesters 2–6, and Diploma (D3) students in semesters 2–4.
Maximum age of 27 years.
From an economically disadvantaged family (proven by a Certificate of Financial Hardship issued by the local authority, or a recommendation letter from the university confirming the student’s financial condition).
Minimum GPA of 3.00.
Majors: Agriculture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Architecture, Arts and Culture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Communication, Economics, Education, Engineering, Languages, Management, Forestry, Geography, Health/Medicine, History, Informatics, Statistics, Law, Political Science, etc. (excluding Religion and Theology).
Active involvement in organizations or communities is preferred.
Proficiency in English is preferred.
Not currently receiving another scholarship.
Required Documents
List of Required Documents (downloadable from the ORS homepage/attachment).
Certificate of Financial Hardship issued and legalized by the local authority (within the last one year), or a Recommendation Letter from the University (signed by the Rector/Dean/Head of Study Program) stating the family’s financial condition.
Official salary slips of parents or guardian (from government or private institutions). If both parents are employed, salary slips of both must be attached (for the last two months). If self-employed, attach a Statement of Employment and Income issued and legalized by the local authority, signed over a Rp10,000 stamp duty (issued within the last one year).
Latest academic transcript showing a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Copies of National ID Card (KTP), Student ID Card (KTM), and Family Card (KK).
Copy of electricity or telephone bill (for the last two months). If unavailable, provide an official statement detailing electricity capacity and monthly expenses, signed and legalized by the local authority.
An essay about yourself (family background, academic journey, social activities, and achievements), what you know about VDMI, why VDMI should select you as a scholarship recipient, what you expect if selected, and what you plan to contribute to society after completing the scholarship and graduating. (Minimum 1.5 A4 pages, Font: Palatino Linotype, Size 11, Single spacing).
Copy of the first page of your personal bank account book and a 4x6 photo (required only if the applicant passes Stage 3).
