Competitions by FK USU Academic Staff to Celebrate the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia August 17 is a historic day for Indonesia, marking the moment in 1945 when Indonesia declared independence. The annual commemoration of Indonesia’s Independence Day is important to strengthen nationalism and togetherness. To celebrate the 80th Independence Day, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), is organizing a series of fun, educational, and solidarity-building competitions. Public Lecture of the Master’s Program in Biomedical Science on “Rodent-Borne Zoonotic Diseases and Vectors" This webinar discusses zoonotic diseases transmitted through rodents (rodent-borne zoonosis) and the role of vectors in their transmission. Participants are expected to gain insights into the diseases transmitted by rats and other rodents, transmission mechanisms, impacts on public health, and effective prevention and control strategies. 25 July 2025
