dr. Fauzi Budi Satria, MPH, Ph.D. (35), is a researcher specializing in Global Health Security and Resilience. He has practiced as a medical doctor since 2015 and previously served as Head of the Quality and Patient Safety Committee at a private hospital in Medan, North Sumatra.
In 2017, he was awarded a scholarship from SEAOHUN and USAID to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, with a focus on One Health, and graduated as the best graduate of his cohort in 2018. He later completed his doctoral studies (Ph.D.) in Global Health and Health Security at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, in 2023.
Currently, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and serves as the Coordinator of RCC USU–SDGHI (Regional Collaborating Centre Universitas Sumatera Utara–SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute). His primary research interests include global health security and resilience, pandemic preparedness, One Health, digital health, and health systems and policy. Through these areas, he is committed to strengthening global community resilience and advancing global health security.
