Dr. dr. Lidya Imelda Laksmi, M.Ked(PA)., Sp.PA., Subsp.U.R.L(K), was born in Medan on January 10, 1976. She completed her medical education, Master’s degree in Anatomical Pathology, Specialist training in Anatomical Pathology, and Doctoral (PhD) program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FM USU). She also obtained additional qualifications as a Consultant in Renal, Urinary Tract, and Male Reproductive Pathology. She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Anatomical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and as the Head of the Anatomical Pathology Medical Staff Group at USU Hospital (Prof. Chairuddin P. Lubis Teaching Hospital).
