On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, the "67th Anniversary of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of USU's Faculty of Medicine" was held in the Meeting Room of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Haji Adam Malik Central General Hospital, Medan. The 67th Anniversary of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of USU's Faculty of Medicine was attended by Professors, Lecturers, Teaching Staff, and the Obgyn Specialist Education Program of the Faculty of Medicine of USU.
The event began at 09.30 WIB, starting with reading the vision and mission of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara. Then, a welcoming speech from the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology FK USU, Dr. dr. Johny Marpaung, M.Ked (OG), SpO.G, Subsp.K.Fm. Followed by slicing the tumpeng, which was carried out by the Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine of USU, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M. Ked (OG), Sp. O.G, Subsp. F.E.R and Prof. Dr. dr. Sarma Nursani Lumban Raja, M.Ked (OG) Sp.O.G, Subsp.KFm and the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine of USU, Dr. dr. Johny Marpaung, M.Ked (OG), Sp.O.G, Subsp.KFm. The event was closed with a photo session with the Professors and Lecturers of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine of USU.
