Tuesday, January 30, 2024. The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), again received a visit from high school students from the Al-Fityan Foundation Medan. Students who are all class XII and 2 accompanying teachers are received directly by Expert Staff for Academic Affairs dr. Zulham M.Biomed., Ph.D., and Expert Staff for Information Technology and Community Service dr. Hidayat M.Biomed., in the USU Faculty of Medicine Hall Universitas Sumatera Utara.
In this visit, the Expert Staff for Academic Affairs, Dr. Zulham M.Biomed, Ph.D., became a material filler, revealing that the visit of the younger siblings from SMA Al-Fityan Medan with the theme “Goes To Campus” according to him could be a reference for students to continue to higher education after graduation. In the material shared, he not only conveyed information related to the profile of the USU Faculty of Medicine but also explained about the new student admission pathways of the USU Faculty of Medicine such as through the SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and SPMB selections, scholarship programs, and also through other achievement and invitation pathways.
This activity also gave teachers and students the opportunity to tour various facilities at FK USU and aimed to increase students' information and insight about campus life and the course of lectures. The students then continued with a question-and-answer session, and the activity ended with an exchange of souvenirs made by the Faculty of Medicine USU and Al-Fityan Medan High School.
