On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FM USU), held the Presentation of Specialist Qualification Certificates in Dermatology, Venereology and Aesthetic Medicine.
The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. dr. Ramona Dumasari Lubis, Sp.D.V.E., Subsp.D.T., M.Ked(DV)., FINSDV., FAADV.; Head of the Dermatology, Venereology and Aesthetic Medicine Study Program, dr. Ariyati Yosi, M.Ked(KK), Sp.D.V.E, Subsp.D.T, FINSDV, FAADV.; Secretary of the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Aesthetic Medicine, dr. Flora Marlita Lubis, Sp.D.V.E, Subsp.D.T M.Ked(DV), FINSDV, FAADV.; Secretary of the Dermatology, Venereology and Aesthetic Medicine Study Program, dr. Deryne Anggia Paramita, M.Ked(KK), Sp.D.V.E Subsp.D.A, FINSDV, FAADV.; Chair of the PPDS Coordination Team, Dr. dr. The presentation of these specialist qualification certificates is in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, through strengthening specialist medical education and professional competencies, enabling physicians to provide professional services in accordance with developments in science and technology in the fields of Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetic Medicine.
Furthermore, the addition of five new specialists also supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, particularly by strengthening the availability of competent healthcare professionals who can provide quality healthcare services and contribute to improving the health and well-being of the community.
