On Tuesday, December 02, 2024, the Neurology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra (USU) held an event called “Conferaal of Neurology Specialist Doctor Education” to 12 Neurology Specialists who had completed their education and was held at Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel Convention Hall.

 

The 12 Neurology Specialists inaugurated are:

  1. dr. Andika Wiguna, MKed (Neu.), Sp.N,

     

  2. dr. Eko Yandra, MKed (Neu.), SpN,

     

  3. dr. Eva Christine Saragih, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  4. dr. Widya Prawirani Siahaan, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  5. dr. Sharanjit Dhillon, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  6. dr. Alvin Hadisaputra, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  7. dr. Sofi Oktaviera Sinaga, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  8. dr. Effi Rohani Nuzul Sari, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  9. dr. Marisa Heidiyana, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  10. dr. Utama Hadiputra Surbakti, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  11. dr. Siti Alimahtun Sodiah Chaniago, MKed (Neu)., SpN,

     

  12. dr. Khansa Salsabila, MKed (Neu)., SpN

     

The MC opened the event and then continued with a prayer. The event continued with singing the national anthem “Indonesia Raya”. Also present at this event was the Dean of FK USU, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S (K)., Chairperson of the Department of Neurology FK USU, Dr. dr. Cut Aria Arina Sp.S (K)., Secretary of the Department of Neurology FK USU, dr. Kiki Mohammad Iqbal, Sp.S(K)., Chairman of the Neurology Study Program FK USU, Dr. dr. Aida Fitri, Sp.S(K)., Secretary of the Neurology Study Program FK USU, dr. Irina Kemala Nasution, M.Ked (Neu), Sp.S(K)., and his staff.

 

dr. Eko Yandra, MKed(Neu), SpN, and Dr. Marisa Heidiyana, MKed(Neu), SpN, representing the other specialists who will be inaugurated, gave remarks and thanked all those who have helped and guided them during the learning process that takes place in every educational activity at the Department of Neurology FK USU and at H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan.

 

The chairman of the Department of Neurology FK USU, Dr. dr. Cut AriaArina, SpS (K), advised the specialists that when they go directly to the community later, they can provide the best health services based on the medical service standards issued by the Indonesian Neurologist Association.

 

“I hope that the newly appointed neurology specialists can improve the quality of health services either through scientific meeting seminars or other events that will be faced in the future,” he continued.

 

In his remarks, the Dean of FK USU, Prof. Dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S (K), said, “The inauguration of 12 neurology specialists is very helpful to overcome the gap in human resources (HR), whose quota is still very limited. The inaugurated specialist doctors are expected to work professionally to maintain public health.”

 

Congratulations and success to the Neurology Specialist doctors. Hopefully, the doctors who have received the Specialist Doctor Expertise Mark can help and devote themselves to many communities.
