Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The Faculty of Medicine of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held another Pediatrician Conferral event at the Tiara Convention Center Medan. Also attending the event were Vice Dean I of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Delyuzar M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K), Director of RSUP. HAM: Chairman of the Education Coordinating Committee, Dr. dr. Iskandar Nasution, MKM, Sp.S, FINS., Chairman of the North Sumatra Province IDI, dr. Ramlan Sitompul, Ka. Dep. Pediatrics, Dr. dr. Bugis Mardina Lubis M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K), Secretary. Dep. Child Health Sciences, Dr. Ika Citra Dewi Tanjung, M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K), Head of the Department of Child Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ir. Department of Child Health Sciences, Prof. dr. Ayodhia Pitaloka, M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K), Ph.D(CTM), and Secretary. Child Health Science Study Program, dr. Olga Rasiyanti Siregar M.Ked (Ped)., Sp.A (K)., along with other academicians.
Vice Dean I of FK USU, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked (PA), Sp.PA (K), said that in the era of globalization, health workers, including Pediatricians, are required to improve medical services, follow the development of science and technology, and be able to use them to address the challenges of health problems that are still being faced, such as stunting in children.

“I hope our students can follow the trend of medical services and the development of science and technology used to be able to face the challenges of health problems, especially stunting in children,” he said.
