On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the USU Faculty of Medicine received a visit from high school students again, this time from Dharma Patra Sei Lapan Private High School. Students who came from science and social classes and 4 accompanying teachers are received directly by Expert Staff for Research and Cooperation Dr. rer. medic., dr. M. Ichwan M.Sc, Sp.KKLP., and Kabag. Administration Enni Susianti, SP, M.Si, in the Hall of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara
Expert Staff for Research and Cooperation Dr. rer. medic., Dr. M. Ichwan M.Sc, Sp.KKLP., as a material speaker, also explained the new student admission pathways for the USU Faculty of Medicine, such as the SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and SPMB Regular selection pathways, scholarship programs, and an Independent pathway. The event was also continued with a question-and-answer session by students and teachers.
In alignment with the visitation theme, "Campus Study", the students and accompanying teachers were invited to tour various laboratory facilities at the USU Faculty of Medicine. Seeing the students’ enthusiasm, Expert Staff for Research and Cooperation Dr. rer. medic., dr. M. Ichwan M.Sc, Sp.KKLP., hopes that this activity will motivate and inspire students to become doctors in the future. The event ended with exchanging souvenirs made by the USU Faculty of Medicine and Dharma Patra Sei Lapan Private High School.
