The Faculty of Medicine USU facilitated the distribution of Student Identity Cards (KTM) for new students of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The activity was carried out directly by Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) at the 3rd Floor Hall of the Faculty of Medicine USU on Friday, September 2, 2026, as part of the services and fulfillment of the administrative needs of new students.
The distribution of Student Identity Cards began with the verification of student data and administrative requirements. During this process, students were required to prepare the necessary documents, including the original and photocopy of their Indonesian Identity Card (KTP), as well as other administrative documents in accordance with the established requirements.

After the data verification and validation process was completed, the Student Identity Cards were handed over to the new students. The card serves as one of the students' official forms of identification and can be used to support various academic activities, administrative matters, and student services during their education at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
This activity aimed to facilitate new students in obtaining official identification as part of the USU academic community, ensure administrative completeness from the beginning of their education, and support students' readiness to access various academic and student facilities and services within the university.
Orderly, well-directed, and accessible administrative services are an important part of creating an educational environment that supports the student learning process. This is in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes the importance of providing inclusive and quality education supported by an environment and service system capable of supporting student success.
Through facilitating the distribution of Student Identity Cards, the Faculty of Medicine USU continues to strive to provide optimal services for new students while ensuring that their administrative needs are fulfilled effectively from the beginning of their academic journey.
With the support of integrated services and coordination with various parties, the Faculty of Medicine USU is committed to creating an orderly, responsive academic environment that supports students throughout their educational process toward achieving their best accomplishments.
