Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Hall of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, a Doctor's Oath Ceremony for Period II of the 2022/2023 Academic Year was held. Lubis, M.Ked (OG), Sp.OG (K), President Director of Prof. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital Dr. dr. Henry Salim Siregar, M.Ked (OG), Sp.OG (K), Ka. Dep. Anatomy Dr. Lita Feriyawati, M.Kes, Sp.PA., Head of Dep. Dep. Biochemistry dr. Rusdiana, M.Kes., Head of Dep. Dep. Community Medicine Prof. Dr. dr. Arlinda Sari Wahyuni, M.Kes., Head of Department. In his remarks, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S (K), explained that “New doctors are required to always be consistent in implementing the contents of the doctor's oath and the medical code of ethics, obey the law, and behave professionally. New doctors must always be willing to add knowledge while practicing their profession”.
The Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine also said that “as Alumni of the USU Faculty of Medicine, you are required to always work with the best abilities. Work professionally according to your competence by always upholding ethics and complying with all applicable regulations and become agents of change in your respective environments “.
