Vice Dean I of FK USU, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA)., Sp.PA, in his address stated, “Entering the upcoming even semester, we need to prepare ourselves more thoroughly. The readiness of high-quality human resources is the main key to delivering excellent medical education that is relevant to the demands of the times.”

Monday, January, 05th 2025 — The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), began the year 2026 by holding a morning assembly attended by professors, lecturers, and educational staff (tendik) within the FK USU environment, which took place at the Faculty of Medicine Pavilion. This activity served as an initial momentum to align steps and strengthen institutional readiness in welcoming the implementation of the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

 

The morning assembly was led by Vice Dean I of FK USU, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA)., Sp.PA, who in his address emphasized the importance of readiness among all members of the academic community, especially lecturers, in facing the dynamics and challenges of medical education in the future. According to him, the quality of educational implementation is greatly determined by the readiness of human resources who are directly involved in the learning process.

 

In his address, Dr. Delyuzar stated, “Entering the upcoming even semester, we need to prepare ourselves more thoroughly. The readiness of high-quality human resources is the main key to delivering excellent medical education that is relevant to the demands of the times.”

 

“I hope that all educational staff in the study programs can continue to play an active role and fully support every study program activity. Optimal administrative and technical support will greatly determine the success of educational implementation at FK USU,” added Dr. Delyuzar.

Through this morning assembly, FK USU reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of educational governance, strengthening collaboration, and preparing all members of the academic community to welcome the even semester with renewed enthusiasm. This early 2026 morning assembly is expected to serve as a starting point for strengthening performance and professionalism of all elements within the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
