The Doctoral Study Program in Medical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, conducted the 2025 Study Program Target Achievement Evaluation activity.

The Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conducted the Evaluation of Program Achievement Targets for 2025 as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of education, research, and academic governance. The activity was attended by the Head of the Study Program, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Rusda, M.Ked., Sp.OG., Subsp.FER., the Secretary of the Study Program, Prof. Dr. dr. Mustafa Mahmud Amin, M.Ked.(K.J)., M.Sc.-C.N., Sp.K.J., Subsp.B.P.(K), the Study Program Quality Assurance Unit (GKM) representative, Dr. dr. Lia Restimulia, M.Biomed.Sc., Sp.T.H.T.B.K.L., as well as a faculty member of the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, dr. Fauzi Budi Satria, MPH, Ph.D.

The evaluation focused on the achievement of the study program’s targets in the fourth quarter of 2025, while also providing a comprehensive review of the program’s overall performance throughout the year. Various key performance indicators were discussed in depth, covering academic aspects, the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education (education, research, and community service), and the internal quality assurance system.

Through this evaluation, the study program identified achievements that had been successfully attained, examined existing constraints and challenges, and formulated improvement measures and strengthening strategies for areas that had not yet met the expected targets. The outcomes of this evaluation are expected to serve as a solid foundation for more focused and sustainable planning and performance enhancement of the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences in the coming years.
