Vice Dean III reminded the lecturers to be more active in guiding students to participate in national and international competition activities. Lecturers are not only teachers but also mentors who direct students to become individuals with integrity, broad knowledge, and high competitiveness.

The USU Faculty of Medicine invited the Heads of Departments and Study Programs, as well as the Secretaries of Departments and Study Programs, to discuss the Priority Performance Indicators of Work Units and the Signing of the 2025 Performance Contract in the Meeting Room Lt. 1, Faculty of Medicine USU (14/02/2025).

 

This meeting was attended by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S (K)., Vice Dean I, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked (PA)., Sp.PA (K). Vice Dean II, Dr. dr. Muara Panusunan Lubis, M.Ked(OG)., Sp.OG(K). Vice Dean III, dr. Inke Nadia Diniyanti Lubis, PGDip PID, M.Ked (Ped)., Sp.A., Ph.D and Head of Department, Head of Study Program and Secretaries of Departments and Study Programs.

 

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S (K)., who said that 4 targets with 17 IKP must be achieved by signing this new performance contract.

Vice Dean III, dr. Inke Nadia Diniyanti Lubis, PGDip PID, M.Ked (Ped)., Sp.A., Ph.D. revealed that the progress of Priority Performance Targets (IKP) refers to improving the quality of graduates, cooperation and partnerships, achievement and reputation as well as improving university management governance. Judging from the achievements of the USU and Faculty 2024 KPIs, the Faculty of Medicine has achieved targets for several KPIs and even exceeded the set targets, such as KPI 1 (Alumni who get jobs) the target is 80%. The USU Faculty of Medicine achieved 100.77%. KPI 8 (International Accreditation) also has a target of 10,% and the USU Faculty of Medicine achieved 100%. While in KPI 2 (Outstanding Students) and KPI 5 (Lecturer Work), the USU Faculty of Medicine has not yet reached the target the University gave.

 

Based on this data, Vice Dean III reminded the lecturers to be more active in guiding students to participate in national and international competition activities. Meanwhile, to achieve the World Class University (WCU) Target, the USU Faculty of Medicine focuses on increasing its reputation and positive contributions by holding guest lectures and inviting practitioners from abroad, preparing national and international academic peers, holding top scientist Webinars, bringing in Inbound students and sending Outbound students, etc.
