The Faculty of Medicine of the Universitas Sumatera Utara received a visit from the Assessment Team of the Indonesian Higher Education Health Self-Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes) again on Friday, July 21, 2023, this time in the context of the Field Assessment for Accreditation of the Specialist Anatomic Pathology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine of USU in the Hall 3rd Floor FK USU.

Present as assessors from LAM PT-Kes dr. Siti Amarwati, Sp.PA, Subsp.O.G.P (K)., and Dr. Hasrayati Agustina, dr., Sp.P.A, Subsp.S.P (K), M.Kes., FIAC., and was welcomed directly by the Vice Rector I for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA., and also attended the Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S (K)., and Vice Dean I Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked (PA), Sp.PA (K)., Head. Dept. Anatomic Pathology Dr. dr. Lidya Imelda Laksmi M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K)., Sec. Dept. of Anatomic Pathology Dr. dr. Betty M.Ked(PA)., Sp.PA., Head. Dr. dr. T. Ibnu Alferraly M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA, D. Bioeth., dr. Causa Trisna Mariedina M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA., and other academicians.


In his remarks, USU Vice Rector I Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA, was optimistic about encouraging good curriculum changes and adaptation to the times, which USU will also support by providing facilities. USU also always strives to fully support the cooperation carried out by study programs within USU.


The Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S (K), said that even though the current accreditation of the Anatomic Pathology Study Program is A (Excellent), it does not mean that the study program at FK USU stops trying to improve several important components. For this reason, it is hoped that the presence of the assessor team who assessed the Anatomic Pathology study program can provide suggestions to make it more advanced.


In the speech of the assessor Dr. Hasrayati Agustina, dr., Sp.P.A, Subsp.S.P (K), M.Kes., FIAC, also said that there were nine assessment criteria in this field assessment, one of which was in terms of vision and mission, curriculum, research, education, finance, and others.


Siti Amarwati, Sp.PA, Subsp.O.G.P (K), emphasized that this field assessment is not to find fault but hopes to find something objective so that we can jointly find solutions to become a better Anatomic Pathology study program.

The Anatomic Pathology Specialist Study Program Accreditation activity was held from July 21-22, 2023.
Hopefully, the Anatomic Pathology Specialist Study Program will get the best result.
