Monday, June 19, 2023. Located at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, received a visit again from LAM PT-Kes in the Field Assessment for Accreditation of the Specialist Program in Dermatology and Venereology. Present as assessors from LAM PT-Kes Dr. dr. Khairuddin Djawad, Sp.KK (K) and Dr. dr. Yuliarni Syafrita, Sp.S (K). At the opening of this event was opened directly by the Vice Rector I of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA, and also attended the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine USU Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S (K)., Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Medicine USU Dr. dr. Muara P. Lubis, M.Ked (OG), Sp.OG (K)., and Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine USU dr. Inke Diniyanti Lubis, Sp.A, PhD., Head. Dept. Dermatology and Venereology Study Program Dr. dr. Ramona Duma Sari Lubis Sp.KK (K), M.Ked (KK), FINSDV, F., Sec. Dept. dr. Flora Marlita Lubis Sp.KK, M.Ked(DV), FINSDV, Head. Dermatology and Venereology Study Program dr. Ariyati Yosi M.Ked(KK), Sp.KK(K), FINSDV, F., Secretary. Deryne Anggia Paramita M.Ked(KK), Sp.KK(K), FINSDV, and other academicians.
In his remarks, the Vice Rector I of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA, hoped that “through this assessment activity, the Dermatology Venereology and Aesthetics Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, will get maximum results for its performance over the past year, especially in improving academic service sectors to produce graduates who have the best competence in their fields”.
Vice Rector I of the Universitas Sumatera Utara also said, "Indonesia will enter the Era of Globalization, especially the ASEAN Economic Community, with the vision of USU Phase-2 for Internationalization. So the only way is to improve the quality of education, especially specialists in Skin and Gender Health Sciences for the level of Sumatra, Indonesia, and globally. Of course, quality is not measured by the Study Program's age but rather by all educators' and students' vision and commitment. We hope that the assessors, as part of the quality assurance system in Indonesia, can support the Dermatology Venereology and Aesthetics Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, to be the best. Hopefully, the Dermatology Venereology and Aesthetics Study Program will succeed in getting Superior accreditation in this assessment activity, thus increasing the number of excellent study programs at the Universitas Sumatera Utara”.
This Specialist Program in Dermatology and Venereology Accreditation activity was held from June 19-20, 2023. Hopefully the Specialist Program in Dermatology and Venereology will get the best results.
