Thursday, August 1, 2024. located in the Dean's Room of the USU Faculty of Medicine. The Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received another visit from the National Accreditation Body of Indonesia (KAN) to conduct a Field Assessment for the International Accreditation of the USU Faculty of Medicine Integrated Laboratory.
The KAN assessor team consisted of Ms. Milla Septiana Wiyantin and Ms. Johanna Sienny Widjaya. Also present were Vice Dean I, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K), Vice Dean II, Dr. dr. Muara P. Lubis, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG(K),. Head of the Integrated Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine USU, Dr. dr. Dedi Ardinata M.Kes, AIFM., Expert Staff for Human Resources, Assets, and Finance, Nenni Dwi Aprianti Lubis SP, M.Si., Head of Administration of Faculty of Medicine USU, Enni Susianti SP, M.Si., and other academicians.
The field assessment conducted by the KAN Assessor is a crucial step in ensuring that the USU Faculty of Medicine Integrated Laboratory meets the rigorous standards set by ISO 17025. This standard emphasizes the importance of accuracy, consistency, and integrity in the laboratory examination process. With this assessment, it is hoped that the USU Faculty of Medicine Integrated Laboratory can continue to improve the quality of its services and strengthen its reputation as an institution that carries out accurate, reliable, and trusted test practices.
