The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU) conducted a field assessment for the accreditation of the Forensic Medicine Study Program and Medicolegal Studies of the Faculty of Medicine USU by LAM-PTKes on Monday, December 16, 2024, in the Hall Room, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Medicine USU.

 

This field assessment brought in two assessors from LAM-PT Kes, namely dr. Yudha Nurhantari, Ph.D., Sp.F.M., Subsp.S.B.M(K). and Dr. dr. Yuli Budiningsih, Sp.F.M., Subsp.E.M.(K). This activity was also attended by the Vice Deans of FK USU, Vice Rector I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H.,M.A., Head of USU Quality Assurance, Dr. dr. Isti Ilmiati Fujiati, M.Sc. CM-FM M.Pd, Ked, Sp.KKLP, Subsp.COPC., Head of USU Library Unit, Laila Hadri Nasution S.Sos, M.P., Head of Curriculum and Learning Innovation Institute, Prof. Dr. Dwi Suryanto M.Sc., and Directors of H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Prof. CPL USU Hospital, Bhayangkara Level II Hospital, Doctor Pirngadi Hospital, Haji Medan Hospital. Head of Department. and Head of Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Studies and their staff.

Vice Rector I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., hopes the Study Program will receive special attention and support from the assessors to achieve the best accreditation value.

 

"I hope that the Assessors can give special attention to this study program this time so that it can achieve the best accreditation value. The presence of the assessor today is also very important to capture what we have prepared so far in the improvement process and the learning aspect in the context of accreditation," said Edy.

 

In his speech. dr. Yudha Nurhantari, Ph.D., Sp.F.M., Subsp.S.B.M (K) said that they had carried out the adequacy assessment process and continued with a cross-check of the suitability of the files that had been sent.

 

"Following the assignment from LAM-PT Kes, we have carried out an adequacy assessment; then we are here to check the suitability of the files with what has been sent by the form team. So later, we ask for permission to be able to conduct observations regarding the facilities and infrastructure here and also conduct interviews with representatives; of course, the code of ethics limits us if all have limitations according to what has been agreed upon together". Said dr. Yudha.
