Field Assessment of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Sub-Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara

Prof. Dr. Dwiana Ocviyanti, Sp.OG(K), MPH, the assessor team, said there are two stages in the accreditation process: the first stage of adequacy assessment and the second stage of field assessment. At the adequacy assessment stage, the study program uploads the required files and documents. At the field assessment stage, the assessor team reviews the documents for validation.

On Monday, April 14, 2025, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Sp-2 Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU) conducted a field assessment activity attended by a team of assessors from the Indonesian Higher Health Education Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes) in the Hall Building, 3rd Floor, FK USU. This assessment aims to see the performance that has been carried out.

 

 

 

The LAMP-PTKes assessor team is Prof. Dr. dr. Dwiana Ocviyanti, Sp.OG(K), MPH from Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Dr. dr. H. Nasrudin, A.M, Sp.OG(K) MARS., M.Sc., FISQua from Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), also present were USU Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH., MA., Head of USU Quality Assurance, Dr. dr. Isti Ilmiati Fujiati, M.Sc. CM-FM M.Pd, Ked, Sp.KKLP, Subsp.COPC and welcomed by the Dean of the USU Medical Faculty, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S(K). accompanied by VD I, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K)., VD II, Dr. dr. Muara Panusunan Lubis, M.Ked(OG)., Sp.OG(K)., and Head of Study Program Subspecialist Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. dr. M. Oky Prabudi M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG(K) and his staff.

 

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., Vice Rector I of USU, said that the presence of the assessors was a highly anticipated moment to improve the quality and accreditation of this study program, "The hope for this study program is that it can provide trust to the public/community, both in terms of the quality of graduates produced, as well as the quality of academic services provided, as well as producing competent medical personnel." He said.

 

Continued by the speech by the Dean of the USU Medical Faculty, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S(K) said he would accept all suggestions, input, and criticism from the assessor team. This is to support the quality of the study program and move it in a better direction in the future. "We hope that this experienced team of assessors can provide input so that we can make improvements so that this study program can be even better in the future," said Prof. Aldy.

In line with that, Dr. dr. H. Nasrudin, A.M, Sp.OG(K) MARS, M.Sc., FISQua, the assessor team will see this field assessment in 9 assessment indicators. These assessment indicators are the vision and mission of the study program, resources, facilities, infrastructure, outputs, and others. "Of course, how is the commitment to the vision and mission of the study program, its resources, facilities, and infrastructure, student outputs, and governance" said dr. Nasrudin.
