Another proud achievement has been made by the Clinical Nutrition Team of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), consisting of Prof. Dr. dr. Dina Keumala Sari, M.Gizi, Sp.GK, Subsp.PK, Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization, together with dr. Fitriyani Nasution, M.Gizi, Sp.GK(K), and Clinical Nutrition Residency Program (PPDS) students dr. Rizka Kharisma Putri, dr. Ayu Zulhafni Lubis, and dr. Zsizsi Akbarinda. The FK USU Clinical Nutrition Residency Team successfully won Second Place in the Official Anthem Video Competition of the Indonesian Clinical Nutrition Physicians Association (PDGKI), held as part of the 7th PDGKI National Congress (KONAS) 2026.

The winners were announced on Saturday, 20 June 2026, during the 7th PDGKI National Congress held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Bintaro, South Tangerang. The event, attended by clinical nutrition specialists, academics, researchers, and healthcare practitioners from various regions of Indonesia, served as an important platform to strengthen collaboration, share knowledge, and encourage innovation in the field of clinical nutrition.

The PDGKI Anthem Video Competition was one of the congress activities aimed at enhancing creativity, fostering solidarity, and strengthening members’ appreciation of their professional organization. In this competition, participants were challenged to create a video that creatively and inspiringly represented the values, vision, and spirit of PDGKI.

Through an engaging concept, strong collaboration, and a powerful message regarding the role of clinical nutrition in improving public health, the FK USU Clinical Nutrition Residency Team received high appreciation from the judging panel and secured Second Place at the national level. One of the team members, dr. Zsizsi Akbarinda, expressed her gratitude and pride for the achievement.

“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful for this achievement. The video production process was carried out with great enthusiasm and teamwork from all members, despite the demands of our education and clinical service responsibilities. This award proves that through collaboration, creativity, and strong commitment, we can make a positive contribution to our professional organization while bringing honor to FK USU. We hope this achievement will motivate us to continue creating and innovating in the field of clinical nutrition,” said one of the FK USU Clinical Nutrition Residency Program students.

This achievement further reinforces FK USU’s commitment to supporting the holistic development of its learners, not only in academic excellence and professionalism but also in creativity, leadership, and teamwork skills.
