In an effort to strengthen institutional relations and enhance strategic collaboration, the Deanery of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), conducted a courtesy visit to Prof. Chairuddin P. Lubis USU Teaching Hospital. This visit reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of medical education, research, and community service.

The FK USU Deanery delegation was warmly welcomed by the President Director of Prof. Chairuddin P. Lubis USU Teaching Hospital, Dr. Inke Nadia Diniyanti Lubis, PGDip PID, FAAET, M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A., Ph.D., together with the Medical Director, Dr. Muhammad Rizki Yaznil, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG, Subsp.Onk., and Dr. Ivana Alona, Sp.KKLP, MPH.

The meeting was held in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. During the discussion, both institutions addressed various strategic agendas related to the implementation of clinical education, research development, and the strengthening of community service programs. As a teaching hospital that plays a vital role in supporting the learning process of medical students and specialist medical trainees, Prof. Chairuddin P. Lubis USU Teaching Hospital makes a significant contribution to creating a high-quality learning environment focused on excellence in healthcare services.

One of the key issues discussed was the placement of residents in the Specialist Medical Education Program (PPDS) and efforts to improve the quality of clinical training conducted at the hospital. Both institutions also explored strategic measures to ensure that the educational process is carried out optimally, in line with competency standards and the evolving needs of healthcare services.

Through this visit, FK USU and Prof. Chairuddin P. Lubis USU Teaching Hospital reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening synergy in implementing the three pillars of higher education, particularly in education, research, and community service.
