During the meeting, both parties discussed various aspects of their long-standing collaboration, particularly in supporting medical and specialist medical education, developing healthcare professionals’ competencies, and improving the quality of healthcare services for the community.

The Deanery of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), conducted a courtesy visit to H. Adam Malik General Hospital as part of efforts to strengthen institutional relations and enhance strategic cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of education, healthcare services, research, and community service.

The visit, which took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Muara Panusuunan Lubis, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG, Subsp.K.Fm., accompanied by the Vice Deans of FK USU. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the President Director of H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Dr. Zainal Safri, M.Ked(PD), Sp.PD-KKV, Sp.JP(K)., along with the Director of Medical and Nursing Services, Dr. Otman Siregar, Sp.OT(K) Spine.

During the meeting, both parties discussed various aspects of their well-established collaboration, particularly in supporting undergraduate and specialist medical education, enhancing the competencies of healthcare professionals, and improving the quality of healthcare services provided to the community.

In addition to serving as a courtesy visit, the meeting also provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange ideas and offer constructive feedback aimed at strengthening the quality of their ongoing collaboration. Both parties agreed that strong synergy between educational institutions and teaching hospitals is essential for producing competent, professional healthcare graduates who are capable of addressing future healthcare challenges.

It is hoped that the strong relationship that has been built over the years will continue to grow through various sustainable collaborative programs and initiatives, in line with the shared vision of both institutions to develop highly qualified healthcare professionals with global competitiveness.
