Medan, August 5, 2026 – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), distributed university jackets and other attributes to new students who will participate in the 2026 Universitas Sumatera Utara Campus Life Orientation Program for New Students (PKKMB). The activity was held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the 3rd Floor Hall of FK USU and coordinated by the FK USU PKKMB Committee for 2026.

Since the morning, new students arrived in shifts according to the predetermined schedule to complete the data verification and equipment collection process. The PKKMB committee ensured that the entire process was conducted in an orderly, systematic, and efficient manner so that every participant could properly receive their university jacket and attributes.

In addition to serving as a symbol of identity as members of the Universitas Sumatera Utara academic community, the university jacket also represents the spirit of togetherness, integrity, and responsibility that students are expected to uphold throughout their studies. This activity also marked an initial opportunity for new students to become familiar with the academic culture and campus life at the Faculty of Medicine, USU.

Through thorough preparation, FK USU is committed to supporting the smooth implementation of PKKMB 2026, enabling new students to adapt to the academic environment, understand institutional values, and develop strong character from the beginning of their university journey.

This activity aligns with the Faculty of Medicine, USU’s commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education through the provision of quality education and an inclusive learning environment for new students. It also supports SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by implementing orderly, transparent, and service-oriented governance in the organization of student activities.
