The Faculty of Medicine USU once again strengthened internal coordination through a leadership meeting and presentation of field reports held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Dean's Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FK USU.
The activity was attended by the Dean of FK USU, Vice Deans, Manager, the Head and Secretary of TKP-PPDS, and Heads of Study Programs. The meeting served as a forum for presenting the progress of program implementation, evaluating achievements, and discussing various steps needed to support the achievement of the faculty's strategic objectives.
The activity began with the Dean of FK USU opening the meeting and providing directions on the importance of establishing strong coordination among work units. Such synergy is needed to ensure that every program implemented runs in alignment and contributes to improving the quality of education and the sustainable development of FK USU.
The agenda continued with the Vice Deans presenting reports according to their respective areas of responsibility. The reports covered developments and evaluations in the fields of Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure; as well as Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization.
Through these presentations, participants gained an overview of program achievements as well as various challenges that still require attention. Various inputs and discussions were directed toward producing more measurable follow-up steps and strengthening the integration of program implementation across fields.
The forum then continued with a question-and-answer and discussion session. During this session, participants shared their views, questions, and input regarding program implementation within FK USU. This interaction was an important part of establishing a shared understanding and building a collective commitment to implementing various faculty agendas.
This activity was part of FK USU's efforts to establish effective, collaborative, and quality-oriented governance. Strengthening internal coordination also supports SDG 4: Quality Education through improving the quality of higher education management, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening collaboration and synergy among units in achieving institutional objectives.
Through regular evaluation and coordination forums, FK USU continues to encourage alignment between program planning, implementation, and evaluation as a foundation for realizing an excellent, adaptive, and competitive medical faculty.
