Located at the 3rd Floor Grand Ballroom of Adimulia Hotel, the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held an Inauguration and Submission of Expertise Marks to 10 Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy Specialists who have completed their education. This event was also an introduction for new students of PPDS Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy. Of the 41 candidates who applied, only 16 people were accepted, showing the high competition to enter this study program.
Also attending the event were Vice Dean II FK USU Dr. dr. Muara P. Lubis, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG(K)., Secretary of USU University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar M.Ked(OG), Sp.O.G, Subsp.F.E.R., Ka. Dep. Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy Dr. dr. Tasrif Hamdi M.Ked(An), Sp.An(K), KMN, Secretary. Dep. Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy Dr. dr. Cut Meliza Zainumi M.Ked(An), Sp.An., Head of Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy Department. Dr. Andriamuri Primaputra Lubis M.Ked(An), Sp.An-TI, Subsp.TI(K), Secretary. Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy Study Program dr. Rr. Sinta Irina Sp.An-TI, Subsp.NA (K)., along with other academicians.
The inauguration was marked with a medal by the Head of Study Program, dr. Andriamuri Primaputra Lubis, M.Ked (An), Sp.An-TI, Subsp.TI(K), and a plaque by the Secretary of the Study Program, dr. Rr Sinta Irina, SpAn-TI, Subsp.NA(K). This event also introduced new students to PPDS Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy. In his speech, Vice Dean II FK USU Dr. Muara P. Lubis, M.Ked (OG), Sp.OG (K) emphasized the importance of maintaining the good name of the alma mater and utilizing the knowledge obtained to make a real contribution to the medical world, not only in North Sumatra but also throughout Indonesia.
In the remarks of the USU Secretary, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M.Ked(OG), Sp.O.G, Subsp.F.E.R., highlighted the importance of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy specialists in the health care system in Indonesia. He explained that USU continues to strive to ensure that every graduate from this study program receives quality and competent education.
In his remarks, Ka. Dr. Andriamuri Primaputra Lubis, M.Ked (An), Sp.An-TI, Subsp.TI (K), expressed his pride in the graduates' achievements, especially because all graduates successfully passed the comprehensive oral exam at Diponegoro University and University of Indonesia in one try. Also, one of the graduates managed to get into the top five best scores at the national level. This achievement shows that students at FK USU are able to compete at the national level.
Congratulations and success to the 10 specialists who received the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Mark and the 16 new PPDS Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy. Hopefully the doctors who have received the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Mark can help and devote themselves to the community.
