Saturday, April 12, 2025. The USU Faculty of Medicine again held a Pediatrician Inauguration event, which was held at the FK USU 3rd Floor Hall. The event was attended by the Vice Dean I, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked (Ped), Sp.PA (K), Head. Dep. Child Health Sciences Dr. dr. Bugis Mardina Lubis M.Ked (Ped), Sp.A (K), Sec. Dep. Child Health Sciences Dr. Ika Citra Dewi Tanjung M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K), Head of the Department of Child Health Sciences Prof. dr. dr. Bugis Mardina Lubis M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K). Department of Pediatrics Prof. dr. Ayodhia Pitaloka M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K), Ph.D (CTM), Secretary. Olga Rasiyanti Siregar M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K), and other academicians.
The event became the momentum for the inauguration of 3 specialists in the field of Pediatrics. Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked (Ped), Sp.PA (K), as Vice Dean I of FK USU, congratulated the newly appointed specialists and thanked the parents who had supported their long struggle during the education period.
“This doctor inauguration event indicates that there are more pediatricians ready to face new challenges, FK USU certainly fully contributes to improving access to quality health, and supports the government's vision to realize a healthy and prosperous Indonesian society,” said dr. Delyuzar.
Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Medicine USU also added “for new pediatric specialists, of course today is not the end of everything, of course in the future even though you have spread throughout the country to devote yourself, it is necessary to develop yourself again so that our knowledge is upgraded in line with scientific and technological developments”.
