Good news once again comes from the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU). Fasihah, one of the doctoral students, has recently completed her doctoral promotion with exceptionally impressive academic achievements.
Amid the established graduation requirements—namely, the publication of at least one Scopus Q3 article and participation as an oral presenter at an international workshop—Fasihah exceeded these standards by a remarkable margin. During her on-time period of study, she published five scientific articles in reputable international journals, consisting of two Scopus Q1 articles, two Scopus Q2 articles, and one Scopus Q4 article. In addition, two more articles are currently under review in Scopus Q1 journals.
Beyond that, Fasihah has actively contributed to international academic forums as an oral presenter. Based on her dissertation research, she successfully published one book and obtained three Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), achievements that reflect both high research productivity and research quality.
This accomplishment has been warmly welcomed with pride by the entire academic community of FK USU. Fasihah is regarded as an inspiring role model for other doctoral students and serves as clear evidence of FK USU’s commitment to producing doctoral graduates who are excellent, highly productive, and globally competitive.
