MABINA (Mahasiswa Membina) is an annual routine work program of the PEMA FK USU Community Service Department. As the name implies, activities are carried out in the form of coaching or counseling by FK USU students targeting school-age students. This year MABINA is collaborated with another program called BULAN BAKTI CE ISMKI. BULAN BAKTI is a mandatory program derived from CE ISMKI which is also routinely held every year. The theme raised by CE ISMKI this year is Caring for Mental Youth.
MABINA PEMA FK USU 2023 x BULAN BAKTI CE ISMKI was held at Fajar Private Elementary School, Jl. Amaliun, Kota Matsum IV, Kec. Medan Area, Medan City, North Sumatra. This activity took place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 and was themed "Happy Life, Healthy Lifestyle".
The series of activities carried out began with joint gymnastics guided by FK USU students. Then continued with health counseling about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and its relationship with mental health which was not only presented by students but also by a psychiatric specialist, dr. Vita Camellia M.Ked (KJ), Sp.KJ. There was also a session of making crafts from used goods carried out by Fajar Private Elementary School students accompanied by FK USU students and closed with the distribution of milk boxes to all participants.
The atmosphere during this activity was very pleasant, all participants followed the activities well and enthusiastically. The results of the workshops made are also very diverse and creative. Not stopping at that day, this activity will also be continued with monitoring to see the success of the counseling provided. Monitoring will be done by looking at the cleanliness of the school environment and distributing questionnaires to students.
