Medan, September 22, 2025 - The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU) held its regular Morning Assembly on Monday (22/9) at the Faculty of Medicine. The event proceedings were led by the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, USU.

The activity was led by the Head of TKP PPDS, Dr. dr. Cut Adeya Adella, Sp.OG (K)., followed by the reading of the Pancasila by the Head of the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Rusda, M.Ked., Sp.OG., Subsp.FER.; the reading of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia by the Secretary of the Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. dr. Mustafa Mahmud Amin, M.Ked.(K.J)., M.Sc.-C.N., Sp.K.J., Subsp.B.P.(K).; the reading of the Panca Prasetya Korps Pegawai Republik Indonesia by Dr. dr. Lia Restimulia, M.Biomed Sc., Sp.T.H.T.B.K.L.; and the prayer reading by Dr. Fauzi Budi Satria, MPH, Ph.D.

In her address, Dr. Cut Adeya emphasized the importance of the active role of lecturers, especially Heads of Departments and Study Programs, in mentoring and guiding students. She stated that intensive supervision is necessary to ensure students do not become involved in cases of bullying or sexual violence, which could tarnish the reputation of the medical education institution.
“Lecturers, especially Heads of Departments and Study Programs, play a strategic role in ensuring that our students grow in a healthy, safe academic environment, free from bullying and sexual violence. Guidance and exemplary conduct are key to building a generation of doctors who are professional and have integrity,” said Dr. Adeya.
