The Pre-Internship Seminar for the Indonesian Medical Doctor Profession Education Program (P3D) was held on October 28, 2023, at the Hall of USU's Faculty of Medicine. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of USU, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S (K), and as moderator, dr. O. K. Ilham Abdullah Irsyam, Sp.OT, and resource persons from Ethics of Care in Medical Education, carried by dr. Andriandi M. Ked (Surg), Sp.OT. (K), SH, MH., Stunting, carried by dr. Winra Pratita M.Ked(Ped), Sp.A(K)., Leadership in Basic Services (Puskesmas), carried by dr. Rehulina Ginting M.Kes., Leadership in the Emergency Room, carried by dr. Hadiki Habib, SpPD, Sp.Em., Chest Pain: What Should We do?, carried by Dr. Naomi Niari Dalimunthe M.Ked.(PD), Sp.PD, K-KV, and from the 6 Pillars of Health Information of the Ministry of Health, carried by Dr. Alvin Saputra.
As is known, the Indonesian Medical Internship Program is a process of enhancing the quality of the medical profession to apply the competencies obtained during education in an integrated, comprehensive, independent manner in the context of self-sufficiency and aligning the results of education with field practice. The internship program is a mandatory placement program for doctors who have just graduated. 100 newly graduated doctors attended the seminar, and the event was filled with Q&A sessions between the speakers and the participants.
