Thursday (28/11/2024): The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), successfully held a guest lecture featuring Prof. Hiroyuki Miyake from Kitakyushu University, Japan as an expert in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the concept of food banks, Prof. Miyake brought interesting topics relevant to current global challenges.

Around 70 participants, including graduate students and lecturers from FK USU, attended this activity. The Vice Dean 1 of FK USU, Dr. Delyuzar, opened it. In his remarks, he appreciated Prof. Miyake's presence and emphasized the importance of international collaboration to support SDG indicators at the faculty and university levels.

This guest lecture provided new insights for participants. It became a strategic step for FK USU to contribute to achieving SDGs, especially those related to hunger alleviation, food sustainability, and global partnerships.
