Friday, September 1, 2023. The Faculty of Medicine USU received a study visit from high school students yet again, this time from SMAIT Al Fityan. All the freshmen students and 2 accompanying teachers were personally received by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Medicine USU, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M. Ked (PA), Sp.PA (K)., and the Expert Staff of Vice Dean I, Dr. Zulham M. Biomed., Ph.D., in the Hall of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara.
As a host speaker, the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Medicine of USU explained the new student admission procedure for the USU Faculty of Medicine, including the SNMPTN Regular path, the Outstanding student path, SBMPTN, and SPMB, scholarship programs, and the Independent program. Students and teachers then participated in a question-and-answer session.
Following the theme of the visit "LEPPIS Study Tour:Goes To Campus" the students and accompanying teachers were invited to visit various laboratory facilities at the USU Faculty of Medicine. Seeing the enthusiasm of the students, Vice Dean I of the USU Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr.Delyuzar, M. Ked (PA), Sp.PA (K), hopes that this activity will motivate and inspire students to become doctors. The event ended with a souvenir exchange between the Faculty of Medicine USU and SMAIT Al Fityan.
