The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), held another session for the Socialization of International Accreditation of Study Programs in the 1st Floor Meeting Room.
Vice Dean I Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K), accompanied by the Head of the Histology Department dr. Zulham, M.Biomed, Ph.D warmly welcomed the arrival of 2 resource persons from Airlangga University, namely Dr. dr. Arie Utariani, Sp.An-TI, Subsp AP(K) and Dr. dr. Maftuchah Rochmanti, M.Kes.
Also present were the Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S (K), Head of the USU Quality Assurance Agency, Dr. dr. Isti Ilmiati Fujiati, M.Sc, CM-FM, M.Pd.Ked., CIIQA, Head of the Biomedical Sciences Masters Study Program, Dr. rer. medic., dr. M. Ichwan, M.Sc, Sp.KKLP, Subsp.FOMC and other academicians.
The participants' enthusiasm was evident in this socialization activity, with the hope that international accreditation is not just a label but an effective tool to improve the quality of education and expand the institution's network. With the joint commitment of all relevant parties, each study program in the Faculty of Medicine is expected to achieve and maintain high international standards, accelerating the renewal of curriculum, teaching methodologies, and evaluation practices.
The purpose of this socialization also includes efforts to ensure that all study programs in the Faculty of Medicine understand the process and requirements of international accreditation so they can effectively implement the necessary improvements.
