Medan, August 29, 2026 – The North Sumatra Clinical Nutrition Family held a Family Gathering and Team Building activity on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Kampung Ladang Outbound, Medan. The activity carried the theme “Together We Are United, Together We Are Great!” as an effort to strengthen family relationships, increase togetherness, and build team spirit within the North Sumatra Clinical Nutrition community.

The Clinical Nutrition Program of the Faculty of Medicine USU participated as part of the larger family in the series of Family Gathering and Team Building activities. This involvement became a momentum to strengthen relationships and interactions among the academic community while building a sense of togetherness in the education and healthcare environment.

The activity took place in a cheerful atmosphere through various outbound activities that emphasized teamwork, communication, trust, and unity among participants. The series of games was divided into two sessions, namely Impossible Tower, Push Ball, Fishing Ball, Blind Line, The Shower, Titik Keseimbangan, Gantung Bocor, and Zihandak.

In addition to the main games, participants also took part in ice-breaking, a coffee break, lunch together, games, a flashback, and various other activities that promoted togetherness. Water games were also one of the activities that added excitement and created a relaxed atmosphere among all participants.

Through the team-building concept, the activity served as a means of strengthening communication and collaboration. Each challenge encouraged participants to work as a team, solve problems together, and build mutual trust. This was expected to have a positive impact on interpersonal relationships and create an increasingly harmonious academic and professional environment.

This activity was in line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being through physical activities, recreation, and social interaction that support participants' well-being. Outdoor activities also provided momentum to maintain fitness and offered an opportunity to refresh from academic and professional routines.

This activity also supported SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening networks, solidarity, and collaboration among the North Sumatra Clinical Nutrition Family. The sense of togetherness built through the activity is expected to serve as a foundation for strengthening synergy in various academic, healthcare service, and professional development activities.
