Dr. Cathy Risdon, Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University, hosted activities tailored to USU’s needs, emphasizing a visitor-centered approach. The visit included insightful discussions with experts like Sarah Kinzie on resident education and Catherine Tong on faculty development, along with highlights on collaboration and research initiatives from Gina Agrawal, Fiona, and Laura.

Dr. Cathy Risdon, as the Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University, organized all activities according to USU's needs, ensuring a truly visitor-centered experience. We were introduced to many experts in their fields, including Sarah Kinzie (Chair of Medical Education), who discussed the curriculum, resident rotation, and assessment for residents. Gina Agrawal, Fiona, and Laura shared insights on research collaboration and initiatives. Catherine Tong provided valuable information on faculty development, and we met with Keyna Bracken to discuss Doctors Without Borders.
