Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S(K)., expressed his appreciation and pride for the achievement of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) delegation, which secured First Place in the Public Poster category at MINERFA 2025. “This accomplishment demonstrates the quality, creativity, and commitment of our students in contributing to public health education. Padang, 16 November 2025 — Another outstanding achievement has been recorded by the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). The university’s delegation earned First Place in the Public Poster category at the 2025 Medical Competition and Fair of Anatomy and Physiology (MINERFA), held at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas (Unand) from 14 to 16 November 2025.
MINERFA is widely recognized as a prestigious academic forum that gathers medical students from universities across Indonesia to compete in the fields of anatomy and physiology. This year, hundreds of participants contended in multiple competition categories, including olympiads, research, and educational creative works such as public posters.
The winning public poster by the USU Faculty of Medicine team was praised for its effective packaging of scientific content in a manner that is informative, engaging, and accessible to general audiences. The health message delivered was considered highly relevant, educationally impactful, and easily understood by people from diverse backgrounds.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine USU, Prof. Aldy, conveyed his admiration for this remarkable accomplishment. “This achievement reflects the excellence, innovation, and dedication of our students in advancing public health education. We hope this inspires others to continually pursue achievements, both at the national and international levels,” he emphasized.
