On Sunday, July 14, 2024, via the Zoom meeting platform, the ISMKI Region 1 Outstanding Student Selection was held. ISMKI Region I covers the North Sumatra region. This event selects and honors students who have shown outstanding achievements in academic and non-academic fields. This activity was attended by 15 students from 8 Faculties of Medicine in Sumatra.
Each student presented scientific papers and case studies to the jury during the assessment process. Dr. Raihanah Suzan, M.Gizi, Sp.GK from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jambi, acted as the jury.
After going through a rigorous selection, case study, and assessment process, the jury decided that M. Arya Muqita Lubis, a representative of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, was ranked as the third outstanding student of ISMKI Region I. M. Arya Muqita Lubis also got the opportunity to become one of the delegates who will compete in the ISMKI National Outstanding Student Selection in 2024.
