Friday, December 15, 2023. The 2023 Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Achievement Award Night was held at the USU Auditorium. Several awards and appreciation were given in various categories for student achievements and best advisor lecturers.
Throughout 2023, USU has won many awards from various aspects, including the best academics, awards for accredited study programs, awards for educational figures and institutions, and many other awards. The students' achievements were also successfully inscribed with competitions at national and international events. In this case, the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) also won various awards, such as Rank 1 for IKU3-Lecturers Activities Off Campus, Rank 1 for IKU1-Graduates Getting Adequate Jobs, Rank 2 for IKU5-The Work of Lecturers Used by the Community or Received International Recognition, Rank 2 for IKU4-Teaching Practitioners on Campus, and several other category awards.
In his remarks, the Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si., expressed his appreciation for all the achievements and accomplishments achieved by the entire academic community throughout 2023. The Rector hopes that this award will be a motivation in the future to provide maximum support and contribution to USU.
The Rector of USU, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos, M.Si., also revealed, "Our achievements in 2023 have entered the international ranking. Then we have also been calculated as a university with great potential towards 500 QR WUR".
The USU Awarding Night 2023 was also filled with entertainment by presenting internal, local, and national artists. Several alumni, partners, and related stakeholders also received appreciation from the Rector of USU, one of which was Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution, who received an award for caring figures in education.
