As for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Study Program, there are 2 specializations, namely Fetomaternal and Reproductive Endocrinology Fertility. We hope that this visitation can provide a good assessment, which is needed for both study programs to develop and advance.
The Vice Rector III of Universitas Sumatera Utara also explained that the science and technology of internal medicine are so broad and developing very rapidly, which does not allow all of them to be handled by specialist programs so subspecialist education in internal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology is needed which can handle more complex cases. The Subspecialist Medical Education Program is an educational program that produces third professional degree personnel who have an advanced level of education in Internal Medicine and Gynecological Obstetrics Specialists.
