Monday, February 03, 2025. The USU Faculty of Medicine held the implementation of the Young Doctor Pledge and P3D Socialization, a total of 247 students were accepted to pledge. The pledge is carried out so students can practice medicine in the hospital.
Also attending the event was the Secretary of the University of North Sumatra, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar, M.Ked (OG)., Sp.O.G., Subsp.F.E.R., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine USU Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S (K),. Accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. dr. Delyuzar M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K)., Vice Dean II, Dr. dr. Muara Panusunan Lubis M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG(K)., Vice Dean III, dr. Inke Nadia Diniyanti Lubis, PGDip.PID M.Ked(Ped)., Sp.A., Ph.D., Ka. PSPPD Study Program, Prof. Dr. dr. Rina Amelia, MARS, FISPH. FISCM., Sp.KKLP., Subsp.FOMC., Secretary of the PSPPD Study Program, dr. Dina Arwina Dalimunthe, M.Ked (KK), Sp.KK,. along with other academicians.
In his remarks, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe Sp.S (K), said that young doctors will enter a new and different life episode than ever.
“You, as young doctors, will certainly enter an episode of life that is new and different from what you have lived. So you have to be ready to face the fact that for the next 4 semesters you have to learn to sleep in the hospital, be willing to be called by a nurse in a sleepy state, that is our need as doctors,” said Prof. Aldy.
“Hopefully, these young doctors can learn well, get the benefits of knowledge, and I hope that all of you will become qualified doctors, of quality, useful for the community,” he added.
The Young Doctor Pledge and P3D Socialization activities aim to enable students to know and understand their ethics, rights, and obligations when carrying out Medical Practice activities in the field.
