The Specialist-1 Program in Clinical Pathology of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is a study program focusing on diagnosing diseases in patients through laboratory examinations. This study program is one of the oldest specialist study programs at the USU Faculty of Medicine (FK), established in 1976. This study program carries out an international standard learning process by providing facilities that support the development of science and technology in medicine.
This study program also has competent teaching staff who are very dedicated to honing the abilities of students. With a main scientific focus that includes hematology, oncology, nephrology, and five other subfields, graduates of the Specialist-1 Program in Clinical Pathology have the best opportunities and career paths in the health sector. Students who have completed this study program will hold the Clinical Pathology Specialist (Sp.P.K.) degree.
