Graduates of this study program can become specialists in hospitals, clinics, or private practices, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of internal diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory disease. They may also become consultants in inpatient and outpatient care.

As teachers, graduates of this study program can become lecturers or instructors in medical education institutions. They will be assigned to teach courses related to their field, guide student research, and engage in academic research related to internal medicine.

Graduates of this study program who choose to pursue a career as a medical researcher will work in research institutes and universities. They will be tasked with conducting scientific research to improve the understanding of internal diseases, develop new therapies, and evaluate the effectiveness of existing treatments.

Graduates will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health programs that aim to improve public health standards as health program managers in government agencies, non-governmental organizations, or the pharmaceutical industry.

Graduates can open a private practice as internal medicine consultants or general health practitioners. In this role, they will provide primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare services to patients in private healthcare facilities and collaborate with other specialists in complex disease management.

Some graduates choose to work as consultants or advisors in the pharmaceutical industry or other healthcare companies. They will be involved in pharmaceutical product development, clinical research, medical education, and marketing and distribution of internal medicine and healthcare products.
