Implementation of Interim Semester A.Y. 2024/2025

Referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education, Article 16 paragraph (3), one academic year consists of 2 (two) semesters and universities may organize an interim semester.

The interim semester referred to above shall be conducted in accordance with the following provisions:

  1. The interim semester applies to students enrolled in undergraduate and vocational programs.

  2. The interim semester includes lectures, midterm examinations (UTS), and final examinations (UAS).

  3. Students who are actively enrolled in the even semester of the current academic year.

  4. Undergraduate and Vocational Program students may improve grades of E, D, C, and C+ during the interim semester. 

  5. Courses taken during the interim semester must not include practical/laboratory work and/or mandatory assignments. 

  6. Students taking courses during the interim semester are not permitted to take Community Service Learning (CSL) courses. 

  7. Mid-semester courses may be conducted if the number of students in a class is at least 10 (ten) and no more than 25 (twenty-five), except for courses that will be discontinued due to curriculum revisions. 

  8. Students referred to in point (7) may not withdraw from courses they have already enrolled in and must pay the mid-semester tuition fee. 

  9. The tuition fee for students in the interim semester is Rp 200,000 (two hundred thousand rupiah) per credit hour per student.

  10. The interim semester must have a minimum of 16 (sixteen) class sessions, and the maximum credit load that can be taken is 9 (nine) credit hours.
