The Specialist Program in Primary Care Family Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) introduces a new approach to primary health care that focuses on family health. Built upon prioritizing competency and in-depth knowledge, the program aims to train specialists who can provide holistic and quality family healthcare.
Through a comprehensive curriculum, students in this program will learn various aspects of family health, including disease prevention, chronic disease management, and family health promotion. Graduates of this program are expected to be at the forefront of providing good healthcare services to the community, thereby contributing significantly to improving the health and welfare of Indonesian families. Graduates of this study program will hold the Primary Care Family Medicine Specialist (Sp.K.K.L.P.) degree.
