I, as the Head of the Study Program, am proud to welcome you for joining our institution. Along with the development of various specialization sciences such as Thoracic Oncology, Intervention, and Respiratory Care, Infection, Asthma / COPD, Occupational and Environmental Lung, and Immunology and Interstitial Lung Disease, deepening in the field of Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine is needed. The Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Subspecialist Study Program (Sp-2) is committed to becoming a quality educational institution by 2030, supporting the vision of the University of North Sumatra as a center of excellence in education with a focus on Thoracic Oncology, Intervention, and Pulmonary Infection. We aim to be a barometer of scientific progress that can compete at the global level. This education will be carried out for four semesters in two years, with a quality curriculum designed to produce graduates who are competent in the chosen field of specialization, have good morals and ethics, and are highly competitive in leading in the field of Pulmonology and Respiratory Health. We are supported by competent and committed teaching staff who provide teaching, conduct research, and provide service that contributes to society.
