Medan – The third and final day of the Medical Doctor Professional Program accreditation site assessment at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU) marked the conclusion of the comprehensive accreditation process.

The final day's agenda began with a document verification session and discussions on the assessment findings involving the assessment team, faculty leadership, program administrators, and the accreditation committee. During this session, the assessors reviewed supporting documents, verified institutional evidence, and provided feedback and clarification regarding the implementation of the educational program, governance, human resources, and quality assurance standards within the Medical Doctor Professional Program.
The discussions were conducted in an open, constructive, and collaborative atmosphere. The recommendations provided by the assessment team will serve as valuable input for the program's continuous evaluation and improvement, supporting the ongoing enhancement of medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

The site assessment officially concluded with the signing of the Accreditation Management Information System (SIMAK) Upload Official Report by Prof. Dr. Dr. Drs. H. Kusmardi, M.Sc., CIRR, Chair of the Assessment Team, and Dr. dr. Muara Panusunan Lubis, M.Ked(OG), Sp.OG., Subsp.K.Fm., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The signing of the official report formally marked the completion of the accreditation site assessment for the Medical Doctor Professional Program at FK USU.
To conclude the event, the assessment team, faculty leadership, academic staff, administrative personnel, accreditation committee members, and representatives from related units gathered for a group photograph. The occasion symbolized appreciation for the dedication, collaboration, and collective efforts of everyone who contributed to the successful implementation of the site assessment.

The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, expresses its sincere gratitude to the entire academic community, affiliated teaching hospitals and clinical education sites, and the assessment team for their commitment and cooperation throughout the accreditation process. The faculty hopes that this accreditation exercise will catalyze strengthening its culture of quality, fostering innovation, and continuously improving medical education to produce physicians who are competent, ethical, and globally competitive.
The site assessment also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening the quality of higher education, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by preparing competent physicians to enhance healthcare services, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through the promotion of transparent, accountable, and continuously improving institutional governance.
